It’s Time for a $15 Per Hour Minimum Wage!!!

The campaign to increase the minimum hourly wage to $15 has been gaining momentum throughout North America since 2013. Alberta, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. have already adopted the increase and have implemented plans to meet this goal.

In Canada, the campaign has successfully launched and is picking up speed in British Columbia, Ontario, and in the Maritimes.

A $15 minimum wage is essential to reduce disparity and guarantee a decent life for all workers (including domestic workers, temporary foreign workers, and other low-wage earners).
