I have seen this pretty little cardinal often in the area outside the Primate Reserve. I think it is always the same one because I only see one at a time in the area. It does not seem to mind having videos recorded of its hopping back and forth from tree branch to tree branch. On this occasion, sirens had been blaring for more than ten minutes along a nearby street, so I was trying to reassure the little bird that everything was okay, and its trees were safe. This is also the first video that I was able to successfully create the gray background, colored subject effect with almost perfectly! Thank you, little cardinal friend, for giving me such a beautiful subject to work with.
