Europe's commissioner for external relations Benita Ferrero Waldner explains in Spanish what the priorities are at the EU-Latin America summit in Lima, Peru.

European and Latin American leaders gathering for their fifth summit in a decade this week plan to tackle climate change, high food prices and poverty - a top priority of the Latin American and Caribbean nations — and slow global warming, a key interest of the Europeans.
