As of Friday, 14 February, more than 1350 out of an estimated 2500 civilians seeking a safe route to exit the city have left. World Food Programme officials said that enough food has been delivered to feed 2,500 for one month. UN Humanitarian chief Valerie Amos told the UN Security Council that more access was needed in other parts of Syria, where some 250,000 are still living in besieged communities and three million in hard to reach areas.
