Europe Market Open: Fed fuels the dollar higher

While the speech by Donald Trump is still analyzed, the Federal Reserve steals the show. Hawkish comments by Bill Dudley and also John Williams boost the US dollar and overshadow Trump's speech, which was quite light on detail, especially on infrastructure and tax, hot topics for markets. The Aussie is the only currency withstanding the greenback comeback thanks to a robust GDP read in the land down under. Opinion polls move the euro and Scottish speculation rocks the pound. We focused on EUR/USD with an improving forecast but political uncertainty and previewed the week ahead, featuring the NFP and the ECB.
