For the latest news across Belize, visit: http://edition.channel5belize.com/ A feud among neighbors has resulted in a young woman losing the use of an eye after being struck repeatedly to the head and body during a physical altercation last Friday. Felicia Audinett was reportedly mobbed by a group of persons near her home on Riverside Street, following an exchange of words. Despite an attempt to break up the fight, Audinett was severely beaten and pummeled by her attackers. By the time family members were able to come to her rescue, Audinett had been seriously injured to the right eye. Police later rounded up several persons believed to have been involved in the melee, however, Audinett’s sister told News Five this morning that not only are charges pending against the attackers, but that her sister is in need of public assistance defraying her medical expenses.
