The Spring fire split has given birth to the #NorthSpringFire and two seperate teams set out to contain the fire. It has NOT yet reached Le Veta but has destroyed many other homes in the counties of Huefano and Costilla. Cosilla county staff are provided updates at the Spring FIre facebook group including archived live streams of the discussion. There are evacuation centers in Fort Garland and Walsenburg. Walsenburg is not under evacuation but a air advisory warning exists for much of Colorado.
