UNAIDS Report Cites Progress in Prevention and Treatment

A new United Nations report on the global AIDS epidemic finds that HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment efforts rose steeply in the last few years, and the number of AIDS-related deaths is declining. Yet the UNAIDS report also found that for every two people newly on treatment last year, five others were newly infected. Carolyn Weaver reports from the U.N. in New York.
