congress party president Rahul Gandhi will be addressing the Congress Working Committee meeting in Sevagram Ashram in Wardha today.

The special CWC meeting, which is convened on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, will be attended by all top leaders of the party, including Sonia Gandhi and former PM Manmohan Singh.

The meeting was initially slated to take place at Bapu Kuti where Gandhiji stayed, but the Sevagram Trust denied permission as no political functions are allowed inside the Bapu Kuti. The meeting will now take place at Mahadev Bhawan, close to Bapu Kuti.

Rahul Gandhi will participate in the morning Prarthana Sabha (prayer meeting ) at the Bapu Kuti. He will then preside over the CWC meeting.
