Flux testing canon fs200 with NI maschine (faustoslament)

I just recently got a canon fs200 camera (it has a mic input!) and picked up the ka333 connection cord (an attenuation cable made for stereo sources to drop line out level to the camera's mic input) I'm still getting a loud hiss though and i haven't figured out where it's source is yet (maybe the dc voltage?) anyway this is a quick beat I made on native instruments maschine. I'm running 1.5 beta os. here.
