Why More Kids Will Be In Direct Contact With Potentially Dangerous Wild Animal In City Parks

I have noticed that people are dumping large amounts of food on the ground in city parks. This is not happening in just one location but in many parks in the city. I find this quite disturbing because not only is this creating a health concern, its also attracting potentially dangerous wild animals to the parks where children play. Cougars, bears and coyotes will sometimes visit a city park during the night but if they find a regular food supply, then they will continue to visit that location at any given time of day. Even though the 'Do not feed the birds or wildlife' sign are visible, the warnings are clearly being ignored. This video was taken in Edmonds Park in the city of Burnaby, B.C. Canada.
