I know this is kind of a late response, but here is some footage of me at my new job. ***DISCLAIMER*** This video is not intended to describe how to do a pretrip inspection, nor is it depicting a pre/post trip inspection. It is simply a demonstration of the engines and its sounds. All inspections were done previously to the filming of this clip. This is at the end of my shift, hooking up a tractor to the back trailer of a set of doubles. A quick walkaround was done to make sure all the lights were still working. The route driver is then resonsible for doing his own thourough pretrip inspection at the begnining of his shift.
