I wanted to make a video where I somehow connected Bitcoin to my trip to Singapore.  This video is my unscripted/unedited attempt. I am glad I made the video and I think it is funny.  At the end of the video people speaking another language started to walk around me so that kind of rushed me. I do not think people in Singapore are taxed as much as Americans are so they can spend money on  useless things like big screen TV's and it won't be as financially destructive as when indebted Americans do the same thing.  I did not say that in the video and instead I said something about ice cream which really is not accurate. Saving money is very important, but sadly many US jurisdictions are not helping out their citizens by creating such a large and unnecessary tax burden.  Americans can't blame the government for everything since so many of them make bad financial decisions that get them into debt.

Singapore is a great place to visit. I recommend it. It is very family friendly. If you are caught selling drugs they kill you. You rarely see any police, but they do have cameras everywhere.  It is very humid so the malls provide a great relief from the weather. 

I also got confused about how much cash I got out of my bank account.  It was 50 Singapore Dollars which is about $35. Since I have been with my bank for 22 years they do not charge me any fees and they give me the real exchange rate.  So I could have made an unwise decision and blown the extra cash on some lame tourist souvenirs or I could have tried to exchange the money for dollars at an exchange place that would have ripped me off. SAVING the money will allow me to use it again if I ever come back here and it is a wise "investment" because the Singapore Dollar has been down to the dollar by a lot late so it should bounce back and be worth more soon.
