The competition for the cheapest price is the main reason why jewelry manufacturers today are making very lightweight or hollow jewelry that is easy to break and cannot be considered a jewelry investment when it becomes scrap gold. 4. There's only one price of gold on the world market. There is no dumb jeweler who makes jewelry and sells it for almost the same as the current prices of gold on the world market.
5. Using the names of other countries is a misleading trademark for gold jewelry, especially if the jewel is not really manufactured from that country. There's no such thing as Italian gold, Saudi gold, or Japanese gold in the Periodic Table of Elements.
6. Gold is ductile, not brittle. Brittle gold has a cadmium alloy. The reaction of cadmium to gold is that it becomes larger, heavier, and better color as gold; it will not be noticeable to pawnshop appraisers because it does not react with nitric acid. Therefore, they sell it cheaper. 
7. YP has no misleading offers. A legit person to be called a jeweler is the bench jeweler who makes jewelry, not the middlemen.
