In 1967 Pontiac put the GTO on to the streets with a 400ci V8. This number matching engine still puts the power to the rear wheels via a dual gate automatic shifter. The original color still resides on the car even though it did have a lacquer paint job nearly 20 years ago. The original factory paint is still in the engine bay and trunk with the original paint markings on the fire wall and stamps on the front fenders. Tracked down through six owners to the original with copies of all titles and showing this GTO spent its entire life in North Carolina. Inside is AC, black vinyl interior and AM/FM radio. Sitting on rally wheels with bias ply red line tires controlled by power steering and power brakes. This survivor GTO is stunning and has documentation to back up its authenticity.
