Biomedical Research Gets 'Single Largest Boost'

President Obama made his announcement of $5 billion in grants for medical research at the National Institutes of Health, the federally funded medical research organization near Washington. The president said the funds will go towards research in cancer, heart disease and autism, among other diseases. Mr. Obama said they will also save and create jobs.
