Boys Lane Youth Club Held Children's Christmas Event in D'Abadie

Christmas is a time for children or so the saying goes. Over the weekend, 300 children from D'abadie and surrounding communities were treated to a day of fun and sharing, as the Boys Lane Youth Sports and Community Development Group Club held their 4th Annual Children's Christmas treat. Face painting, bouncy castles, beating the heat with an ice-cold snow cone or getting extra energy from a sugary cotton candy were all part of the day's activities. The President of the Community Group says it's all about giving back to the community. In a time when the country is facing an economic downturn, Mr. La Croix says sponsorship this year was a bit tight, especially with corporate Trinidad and Tobago having responded positively to flood relief efforts in October. He thanks the business community in D'abadie, the member of Parliament for D'abadie O'Meara and reliance on his faith.
