Spanish Prime Minister says Spain won't veto Brexit plans

Theresa May has cleared the latest hurdle in her Brexit negotiations as she arrived in Brussels tonight (centre) with EU leaders set to approve her deal at a crunch summit tomorrow.  It comes after Spanish leader Pedro Sanchez (top right) dropped his threat to veto the deal, as Mrs May caved in to Madrid's demands to have a say over the future of Gibraltar. The agreement means Mrs May will take the completed deal back to Westminster for a Commons vote, expected early next month. With a battle looming to win over Brexiteer MPs, Boris Johnson today fired up the DUP - which has propped up Mrs May's government - with a pot-stirring speech in which he savaged the PM's 'humiliating' Brexit deal.
