This weekend, a first-ever event will honor Baltimore boxing great Joe Gans. He's considered the first African-American world champion of the 20th century. He died in 1910, but an effort is underway to keep his memory alive with young, upcoming boxers in the city. Professional boxer Michael Gbenga treats his training like an art.
