Former Hawks head Major-General Berning Ntlemeza will petition the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein to get his job back. This is the final legal bid to hold on to the post of top cop in the elite police unit. Last week the High Court in Pretoria dismissed his application for leave to appeal. This setting aside his appointment and ordered him to vacate his office with immediate effect. The police Minister also commented on the latest regarding Ntlemeza.
