Every journey allows people to experience new things and discover new people, these different aspects of travelling impacts the traveller’s life in unique ways. For Yip, a person who used to isolate himself from others, travelling has turned him into someone who loves to become connected with the society. Despite his fear, as he stepped onto this railway, he has found much excitement and much more is yet to come.

Prasertsak "Yip" Padmarid started solo traveling before he graduated with the Trans-Siberian Railway route. Since then, he has travelled continuously, following his dreams all over Asia, Europe and Africa. He has a travelling blog on Pantip.com, the most famous one being called “As the train takes me over half of the globe (A journal entry of solo travelling from Bangkok to Saint Petersburg by land)”.
