I picked up this steering wheel in the late 1980's at a VW swap meet, intending to some day put it into a vintage Beetle. I never got the car, but I held onto the wheel all these years. I haven't been able to find out much information on these wheels. Secura was an Italian company that produced aftermarket wooden steering wheels for high performance cars, including Shelby Mustangs and Maserati's. Today, restored steering wheels from Secura are selling for over $1500! I have all the original mounting hardware for the wheel, including the horn ring and button. It should fit any Beetle or Ghia from 1961-1971 and it may fit earlier models.
