Many people talk about mental health but there is very little conversation about the barriers to giving help. Recognizing that someone needs help is only the first step, but what comes next? Daniela Barrio talks about her personal stories and experiences with individuals struggling with mental health and the lessons that can be learned and applied in order to truly help. Daniela is a junior at the Johns Hopkins University double majoring in public health and psychology. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
