An oldie but goodie from Stephen Foster. If this don't qualify for a traditional folk song, I guess I don't know what does. This is a fun one to play at all differnt speeds. I sat down and monkeyed around and this is what came out this evening. I hope you like it. Played with Guitar and Dulcimer. I saw Dan's (coolanddark) talking about happy folk songs with Johnny (UncleVroy) and thought I'd join in on the fun. This is certainly a watered down version of the original lyrics... didn't want any flak, so I chickened out, shame on me! I'd like to point any one who likes this song to perhaps the best rendition I have ever heard, to cmrsvids (Clay Riness') Channel. Truly if you can find a better rendition, I will be forever indebted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXoS4m-MRes
