This is an odd game. A horizontal shooter with RPG elements. Each stage has a hub town that resembles Dragon Warrior's towns. Here you can buy things like weapons, engines, shields, HP/MP upgrades and healing items. You can also upgrade your fuzz power, which allows you to set either defense or offence on autopilot. 

The game was developed by Make and published by Sigma Ent. Inc. It was released for the Famicom in Japan in 1991. However, there is a fan translation, which is what is used in the video.

It's a pretty fun game with a decent amount of customization options for the NES era. Your ship's appearance even changes in the back depending on the engine you are using.
