Queensland Museum Discovery Centre Haig Photographic Studio Warwick Queensland When it closed in 1984, the Haig Photographic Studio was emptied, and Queensland Museum was the recipient of much of the equipment, furnishings, fittings and ephmera like this sign. Photography studios often faced fierce competition from amateurs, also called spec photographers who posed as professionals and undercut prices. This sign would have appeared in the shop window or counter of the Haig Studio to legitimise their business.
