Have had a super start to the year!! We won at Hartpury out of 40+ horses, and we won by 12 secs! Our first show back after 8 months! I was literally buzzing, she jumped so well! We then went training at summerhouse, have some vids on my phone but cant seem to get them to play in the movie maker :( then this weekend we jumped the blue chip discovery qual, there were 150 in the class and 3 people had fallen off at the fence I had trouble with! Was an awful turn and we got through clear to jump off section then number 13 came up really quick round a very tight turn, nearly ended up jumping the wrong jump! Then she finished the course beautifully, so just had one issue with the dreaded bogey fence!! She jumped her first triple as well which she did foot perfect!! So pleased with her she is jumping really well and im mega excited for this year!! We are both getting back in to it so I know were looking abit rusty! She is the quirkiest mare in the world, i now ride her bitless which she much prefers and feel like it all going in the right direction! A huge thanks to my trainer Emma Slater, wouldnt be where I am without her!! Thanks for watching & all of your support! x
