Enjoy this ride on Bostons ancient, PCC street cars from Ashmont to Mattapan. The PCC street cars were built between 1945 and 1946 and have been in continuous use ever since. The line originally opened in 1929 and is around 5 miles round trip. Video stars at the Ashmont station then down to the Mattapan station. The we head back to Ashmont. This was a fun ride and I hope Boston keeps these historic street cars running for future generations to enjoy. This was filmed in January of 2017.
