2-8-2 JS8368 propels a loaded spoil train out of the opencast pit. The "distant" type lower quadrant signal can be seen on the roof of the guard's compartment. The guard uses this to give stop, go and prepare to stop signals to the driver of the loco when the train is being propelled. The guard also has an air horn for use as a warning.
