his fall, Golden Globe, Tony, and Olivier Award winner Janet McTeer will return to Broadway in the world premiere of Bernhardt/Hamlet, a new comedy-drama by Pulitzer finalist Theresa Rebeck. The play will bring to life the legendary Sarah Bernhardt, a trailblazing French actor who made history in more ways than one.

In the video above, we chat to the creative team and cast ahead of the first preview, August 31. 

Bernhardt/Hamlet, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, will play a limited engagement at the American Airlines Theatre in a production from Roundabout Theatre Company. The principal cast will also include Dylan Baker as Constant Coquelin and Jason Butler Harner as Edmond Rostand.
