The Papindo Supermarket and Department stores in Port Moresby’s Gerehu suburban went up in flames after fire fighters were not able to contain the fire which stared in the nearby Bismillah Wholesale, just two meters away. The initial fire started at 12 midnight and by 3 this morning, all three shops were up in flames. It has been over 20 years since such a massive fire destroyed shops at the Gerehu area. Our news crew who were at the scene at one this morning, were able to capture footage of the fire spreading to Papindo. - visit us at http://www.emtv.com.pg/ for the latest news...
