Written by Tom Paxton, I found this song in his book 'Ramblin' Boy and other songs'. I have never heard him nor anyone else sing it, working out the tune from the score in the book, a great achievement for me especially back in the late 1960s. I sort of get the impression that the weaving referred to in this song is not that done on a loom!!
