RARE DAYLIGHT MORNING D&H 417 in Cold Spring

Here we are at the same causeway shot in Cold Spring that you saw in the previous video with Amtrak 281. This time, however, we see a much rarer and much more interesting train in D&H 417, the northbound freight to Kenwood Yard. This train runs during the week and usually runs at around 7PM through TARRYTOWN. This is SATURDAY and at 11:34AM and 28 miles to the north. This shot could not be any more hard to get if I tried in terms of timing and train selection. Either way, 417 consists of SD40-2's 5672 and 5671 with a short 6 car train. Enjoy the sound of the EMD 645 of the two engines as they accelerate through CP53, as well as the view, and especially the fact that this is a very rare move.
