GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this highly modified 1979 Chevrolet C3 Corvette for your consideration. This car is nothing short of spectacular and was very well done. The car has been featured in the April 2008 “Vette” issue and also February 2008 “Hotrod” issue. The Corvette has over $46,000 in receipts for the build of the car. The Corvette is powered by a Chevrolet GMPP E-Rod 6.3L LS-3 2010 brand new crate engine. The Corvette dyno resulted in 375 HP and 359 FT LBS of torque. The transmission is a Keisler TKO-500 PerfectFit Tremec 5 speed with a Keisler hydraulic throwout bearing kit with a Hurst stick and knob. The exhaust consists of high flow cats (dual-dual)4 02 sensors for close loop control, true dual exhaust with X pipe mid chassis, Mid America Stinger mufflers and aluminized 2 ½ inch customized exhaust. The differential is a Corvette 3.73:1 ratio with limited slip posi with carbon fibre clutchpacks. The car also has “Dennys Driveshaft” 'nitrous ready' half shafts with heavy duty U joints. The Max performance suspension includes fabricated upper and lower A-arms, all polyurethane bushings, oversized anti-roll bars front, fiberglass leaf springs front and rear. The steering suspension was ordered new from speeddirect.com. The brakes consist of Baer Extreme+ front 6 piston calipers, Baer slotted and drilled 14 inch rotors in the front and rear, Wilwood master cylinder, stainless braided hoses. The paint and body show extremely well. The car features a ZR1 style fiberglass rear bumper, C5 badges with a 'Gran Sport' theme. The interior shows very well with Corbeau GTS 2 seats. The car also has a painless wiring kit. It rides on 17 inch wheels and Nitto tires. This is a ton of car and is a blast to drive!
