Religious leaders respond to NY Police union leadership's raising tensions after deaths of 2 policemen by joining in prayer for better police-community relations, first at Union Theological Seminary and then marching to local 26th Precinct Police Station. They pray for the families of people killed by the police, pray and commit to work for better police-community relations, for an end to senseless killing and violence everywhere, for justice and peace. Dr. Paul de Vries recounts at 5:50 teaching chaplaincy to slain officer Rafael Ramos who was about to graduate. They chant humans are hand-made by God and sing as they march, "ain't nobody gonna turn us around."

Participants are from Union, Auburn and New York Theological Seminaries, The Riverside Church, The Collegiate Churches of New York, the Drum Major Institute, the Interfaith Center, Judson Memorial Church, the Micah Institute and a racially inclusive coalition of clergy from all faiths.
