The Real Purpose of the Narcissist's False Self-Image

When the cluster B personality and the narcissist choose to detach from the most humane aspects of him or herself, the false self-image was summoned to take over him or her in order to continue to function. It’s possible that during a narcissistic rage or what is called narcissistic injury, the cluster B personality or those with a narcissistic personality, dissociates as they watch their false self-image act out of rage due to a perceived threat of its annihilation.

The false self-image functions as an entity seemingly with a mind of its own. Usually the false self-image will whisper the language of fear and could influence a state of anxiety and self doubt in others around the narcissist and cluster B personality, while encouraging him or her to be paranoid and delusional in order to maintain its survival.
