FOX2 News Kelley Hoskins sit down with two Wildwood Missouri students. The 20th Annual Toshiba National Science Teachers Association Exploravision Program recently announced it's 24 th regional winners for 2012. Lasalle Springs Middle School students Caroline Goldsby and Rebecca Newton were honored for their innovative entry in the Explora Vision Program. They envisioned a new optical technology that would merge the modern contact lens with night vision, creating a priceless lens for drivers and people with poor vision. The night lens would be made of siloxane that would allow twenty-five times more oxygen into the eye than current contact lens. The competition asks students to imagine ideas for future technologies that could exist in twenty years. The team is now creating a web site to be submitted for national judging in April. A total of 14, 602 students participated in this year's Toshiba/ National Science Teachers Association ExploraVision program.
