Animal lovers nationwide not only stand against the horrifying practice, but come out monthly to make their voices heard in the town of Smithfield, Virginia. Volunteers from Smithfield Pig Save held a memorial service for the slain pigs on February 21, 2016 as part of their monthly vigil; here we share a glimpse of that ceremony.
