I couldn't get into this area. I looked up on the Internet the night before of the various neighborhoods around the downtown area which may be similar to Detroit. I headed straight west from downtown and this is what I got film wise. Not much. It's clear gentrification is alive and well. There's a clear property line between the haves and have nots. I notice in every large city where I have traveled there are always sections where residents' disguise metal bars around their windows and doors with decorative designs. What a way to live. Here we are in a so called civilized society and we're living in a cage. I'm convinced these areas will always be around. Any ideas or theories?
