Product Info: It's a race for the skies in the new game Clear for Takeoff. Players take turns playing action cards to get all three of their wooden planes from their hangars to the runway to take off. But beware of delays that other players can play on you and bad weather that can set you back. The first player to get all three planes successfully cleared for takeoff wins.

More specifically, each player always has six action cards in his hand at a time. On your turn, you can advance one of your planes by playing one, two, or three action cards at a time. Each section of the runway is lettered, so you need the appropriate lettered card or cards to move your planes to that section. It only takes one card to move the small plane, but it takes two of the same letter card to move the medium plane. And you need three identical letter cards for your large plane. Lucky Captain cards are wild cards that can replace any letter.

If you don't want to advance one of your planes, you can delay one of your opponent's planes by playing a delay card. This pushes the selected plane from the B or C sections of the runway back a section. However, if your opponent has a Lucky Captain card, he can play it immediately and cancel any effect of the delay.

And if you can't advance or delay, you can simply discard one, two, or three cards from your hand. At the end of your turn, draw back up to six cards.

Once you have a plane in the C section of the runway, you can attempt takeoff by playing the appropriate number of D action cards. Then you draw a weather card from that card pile and follow the rules on the revealed card. There are four different weather conditions and only one allows all three plane sizes to take off.
