In this fast-paced, cut-throat climate, the need to succeed professionally can often supersede growth as a person. While cutting-costs and working overtime might seem to be the way to get ahead, it’s only through personal development that one can truly be a success. This talk by Baldwin-Brentwood-Whitehall Chamber Commerce President Steve Gardiner explores his vast experience in this field.

Steve has served the South Hills and surrounding communities as an Insurance Advisor with Eber & Associates, Inc for the past nine years. He is a graduate of the 1993 Class at the University of Pittsburgh and the 1989 Class of Baldwin High School. Steve is the current President of the Brentwood Baldwin Whitehall Chamber of Commerce, he sits on the advisory committee for Economic Development South, he actively volunteers for Junior Achievement of Western PA, is on the membership committee at South Hills Country Club and sits on the Pastoral Council at his church among many other volunteer activities. He now lives in Jefferson Hills and is the dedicated husband of Michelle A. Gardiner and the proud father of three incredible boys.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
