I picked this song for a very good reason and that is that I interpret this song describing a kind of love that other people may judge or disregard because it isn't the "norm" and besides the fact that emma and regina are both women (already defying what society and well most of the OUAT fandom is comfortable with for whatever reason), there's also something to be said about how different they both are but still share this connection, somewhat through past experiences, that allows them to understand one another and just work.
