We know Kat Graham as "Bonnie Bennett" on The Vampire Diaries and as a singer. But now, she's writing guest posts for GLAAD's website with her friend, trans performer Alissah Brooks. The posts will feature interviews with LGBT people and advocates with a focus on people and experiences in the South. Their work connects to GLAAD's new initiative, "Southern Stories," which aims to tell the stories of LGBT people and their allies in the American South. Kat & Alissah sat down with GLAAD to tell us about their new roles as writers.
