UPDATE: March 19, 2016--The pallet boards didn't last long so I have now replaced them with 2x4's. This brings the total cost up to $15, including the post hole digger. :) COST: Materials = $5 for two 8' 2x4's (the rest was lumber and screws I already had.) Rent post hole digger = $10
