First live test with my slimmed down setup ! I am pretty happy with the results given that I had less than 24 hours to prepare for the gig. This proves to me that the digitakt is a very powerful device and will help me to work on a more streamlined and small footprint for future gigs.

The music on this set is tailor made for the event, e.g a bit more laid back and lounge style than i usually do.. this in order to fit the DJ line up and event.. also since it was a bit more minimal it helped me to prep the stuff in such short time frame.

For future gigs I will most probably bring some more stuff (atleast one more monosynth, volca bass or similar), as the performance aspect of the gig is important to me, also when getting to know the digitakt a bit more it will become easier to edit stuff on the fly.. there were moments of hesitation and i'm guessing this just needs some practice.

I managed only to capture only a part of my gig due to some technical mishaps. At some point of time I somehow nudged the audio recording cables to my H5 recorder causing a slight but yet pretty annoying persistent hum present on the recordings, what you hear and see is the only "clean" section of the set.

Also, yes yes.. :-) there are some misses here and there, but hey its live and a bit dark so i need to figure out that part getting some better lighting (the volca keys was especially hard to see during this set).

All in all a fun gig, , and happy to have properly live tested the digitakt.

Big thanks to Love International and the Crew / DJ's for an awesome night!!
