It’s been 3 years since we launched our five-year Urban Greening commitment. Throughout the years, we’ve learned many valuable lessons, like how to plant a tree without getting your Timbs dirty (just kidding, they always get dirty), how to move two thousands bricks via human chain and most importantly, that we have the potential to do more. In 2018, we set out to green not just one city, but three. Watch how we transformed a vacant lot to a community pocket park in Chicago; created a green roof with carbon and heat mitigating plants at the East Harlem School of Science and Mathematics in NYC; and brought to life an urban farm in the middle of LA to provide the local homeless population access to fresh food.
