This tune was introduced to me by a friend (Rishi Pradhan) from Darjeeling some 18 years ago. Apparently his cousins in the neighborhood originally came up with the idea for this song. Based on the melody and parts of the song, we then created the complete song. I chipped in some of the lyrics for the song. So this one is dedicated to all those unknown creators/contributors from the hills of Darjeeling. Cheers !
