Trefenter is a village in Ceredigion, Wales and is largely agricultural. The area is well connected to Welsh history with the remains of a medieval site which is a scheduled monument. "The War of the Little Englishman" happened in 1819 when Augustus Brackenbury bought an estate in the village and started to close the common land. There was strong opposition from the local residents which lead to the destruction of two houses built by Brackenbury. He built another house naming it "Peace Monument" but shortly afterwards, left the area. The schoolhouse (the second building seen in the video) was built in 1877 and at it's peak educated 100 pupils but closed just after celebrating it's 100th birthday. At the top of the mountain (on the other side as seen in this video) is a monument commerating the lives of T. Hughes Jones , BT Hopkins , JM Edwards and Edward Prosser Rhys who were all poets local to the area.
