The 'Happy for Goals' short film was the inspiration of a group of kids from Atlantic Highlands Elementary School, NJ who wanted to raise money to buy soccer goals for their school playground. Gail Woods, a TEDxNavesink curator, introduces the video and describes how the kids, parents, school and community came together to raise the money needed for the soccer goals. Shot by Atlantic Highlands filmmaker Michael Boylan, the video beautifully captures the children's love of soccer and why the soccer goals are important to them.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
