Comparison of McLaren F1 (XP5) acceleration (GPS digital display), Mclaren F1 record run, vs Veyron SuperSport acceleration (Speedo Display) , Autocar Worlds' fastest car driven to the limit.
The McLaren F1 keeps up with and even outaccelerates the Veyron SS along the whole range of speeds. 
When McLaren F1 at 321kmh, Veyron SS is at 312kmh only! McLaren F1 from record run identical to all F1s, except rev limiter raised from 7500 to 8000rpm
Would love to do a comparison from a lower speed, but andy wallace from the mclaren f1 did not put in full throttle until 170kmh.
N.B speedos tend to overestimate the speed. Therefore the veyron SS is actually slower (Speedo 0-322kmh = 21.2s, GPS 0-322kmh = 22.0s), and the F1 faster still (since its a GPS readout).
This is a crude comparison. i will add the distance counter in a later vid.
